Politico confirms Hunter Biden emails
Hunter Biden has been an access path to his father, Politico confirmed this week
Unlike Russiagate, there was an investigation started during the Trump Presidency into the role of a high-ranking elected official and their involvement with foreign operatives.
That, of course, was the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.
This scandal is what got Donald Trump impeached the first time, as his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, went to Ukraine to investigate Hunter, and then a phone call was made by that President to his Ukrainian counterpart, in which the words “I would like you to do us a favor though” were construed to be a request from Trump for Ukrainian President Zelensky for some dirt on Joe Biden. Because American aid for Ukraine’s defense against Russia also came up in that conversation, Democrats and their media minions assumed that Trump was attempting to set up a quid pro quo, threatening not to fund the Ukrainians' defense unless this dirt on Joe Biden was given up.
Now, this call wasn’t the ‘perfect phone call’ that President Trump attempted to make it out to be. While this supposed quid pro quo wasn’t really what the Democrats attempted to make it out to be, the fact that the Zelensky bragged about staying at Trump Tower, meaning that the Ukrainian President and his crew, which is quite large, were effectively giving the American President money. That is blatantly unconstitutional, as the emoluments clause stops leaders from receiving gifts, emoluments, offices or titles from foreign states. Money is a gift. Now, many people think it is unreasonable to force President Trump to sell all of his businesses. However, based on the fact that Jimmy Carter was forced to sell his peanut farm by the Supreme Court because they thought that foreign governments could buy him through that farm. That says to me that a multinational, multi-billion dollar business is very susceptible to funneled money.
However, that being said, I don’t see it as impeachable, and the evidence of a quid pro quo simply does not exist. Was it a good call? No. But it was far, far from worthy of being worthy of impeachment.
Moving back to the Hunter Biden scandal, the New York Post, admittedly a fairly right-wing publication, last year alleged that Hunter Biden was using his father as a way to make himself millions of dollars on a Ukrainian energy companies, and he also used access to his father as a reason to get himself on these energy boards.
One of these emails, from a Mr. Vadym Novynskyi, a Ukrainian billionaire businessman, went “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving me the opportunity to meet your father and spen(d) some time together. It’s really an honor and pleasure. As we spoke yesterday, would be great to meet today for a quick coffee. What do you think? I could come to you(r) office somewhere around noon or so, before or on my way to the airport. Best, V.”
This may just seem like some friends looking to catch up with each other. But, the first part of this email is actually scandalous. That is the son of the United States President practically selling access to his father.
There is also the fact that Hunter Biden was put on the board of a Ukrainian energy company, despite never having worked in energy and not speaking either Ukrainian or Russian, the two main languages in that country. Clearly, some level of corruption was going on there.
This week, a Politico reporter by the name of Ben Schreckinger confirmed the above email, as well as some other ones proving the same point and some other, lesser-known information about the Biden family.
Of course, this is journalism at it’s finest. This is a reporter reporting on the facts, facts that his peers in the media, and even at Politico, had been attempting to cover up for nearly a year.
It is also worth mentioning one of the other stories that Schreckinger published in his book, The Bidens: Inside the First Family’s fifty-year rise to power, was an email from 2017 detailing a lucrative deal with a Chinese company, which included, from a Chinese energy company employee, the comment “10 held by H for the big guy?” H is Hunter, the big guy is his Dad, now the most powerful man in the world.
These were confirmed by a mainstream, liberal network. Full credit of course goes to Politico for actually publishing these, and allowing Schreckinger to write this book. You can guarantee that MSNBC wouldn’t.
Speaking of, this now brings up another massive conversation about the role of the media during this investigation.
It is, of course, true, that some mainstream outlets did fairly talk about this subject, those mainly being Fox and the New York Post, but only because it was politically convenient to them.
Meanwhile, to those who it wasn’t politically convenient to, they either completely ignored the story, or outright attacked it. Politico, before their renaissance in the form of Ben Schreckinger, even called it a Russian disinfo.
Needless to say, this is not true, and these dozens of former intel officials were either deliberately lying or talking about a subject in which they knew very little. I would suggest that, for most of them, it was the first, given that President Trump was very unpopular among the Military Industrial Complex, or the deep state as he calls it, for his anti-war rhetoric, even if his actions didn’t really line up with this rhetoric.
Other liberals, especially late-night hosts who pretend to be comedians, decided to make a big song and dance out of the fact that the man who released this information for us, an IT guy, happens to be partially blind, even though that doesn’t play any role in the allegations. That was just a smear attempt.
The Washington Post released an opinion piece last year in which it termed this a ‘non-scandal’ and called the allegations against Hunter “laughably weak,” even though they happen to now look very strong.
They also attempted to make the point that, since some of the main propagators of this scandal happened to be Tucker Carlson and Rudy Giuliani, the whole scandal must be a lie.
Now, I despise Tucker Carlson and I despise Rudy Giuliani. They are both incredibly awful people. There isn’t really any doubt about that. They are both Republican puppet elitists who have built a living based off of the amount of money they already had.
However, a broken clock is still right twice a day, and this happens to be one of those two times.
More important than any of this is that both Facebook and Twitter made very serious attempts to prevent people from sharing this article. Twitter blocked users from copying links or from posting photos from the New York Post report, while Facebook placed some less restrictive but still unacceptable measures to stop people from sharing this report. They both painted it as ‘misinformation’, even though it has been proven this week that it is far from that.
They never did this with Russiagate, even though that was actually misinformation, or more accurately disinformation, with little to no evidence to back it up.
This is because there is a very clear and obvious liberal bias here. Now, I have absolutely no problem with a liberal bias, or a conservative bias, because the truth of the matter is that everyone has some level of bias when talking about politics. However, that does not allow for restrictions on free speech, which is what these big tech companies have decided to do.
That’s what this is. A restriction on big speech. It’s like going up to a small business owner in the 80s and taking away their telephone. Without it, they can’t get their product out. And if you are blocking people from sharing their political views, or at least an article about a real scandal, online, that is stopping someone from getting their perfectly legitimate free speech out.
For me, we need to make all the big tech companies public utilities, which means that the Constitution, specifically the first amendment, applies to them as well, rather than allowing them to get away with blocking political comments from people they don’t agree with.
The other thing that needs to happen is that people need to genuinely stop trusting these mainstream, liberal outlets. They have been wrong about everything. Of course, very few people do actually trust them anymore, and most people see through their bullshit for what it is. However, those few people that do trust them need to start seeing through them.
